ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT-A UNIVERSITY TOWN!
Mayor Delgado's downtown plan is simple - 1) embrace Cal State Monterey Bay and its $150M annual economy and vast intellectual and social/volunteer capital and engage Marina to become a University Town 2) Ambitiously apply for federal, state, and other funding to construct $145 million light rail network between Marina and Monterey to attract millions of dollars to modernize our Del Monte Blvd.
BALANCED BUDGET ~ FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY
When Bruce left the City Council in 2004, he left the city with a balanced budget.
