Candidate for
Council Member; City of San Mateo; 4 Year Term

I am a proud third generation resident of San Mateo who was born, raised and educated in the City I love. I attended St. Gregorys and Aragon High School and raised my own family here. I recently welcomed the fifth generation with the birth of my grandson.

I retired this year from Notre Dame deNamur University after a 23 year career in community and government relations where I also earned both my BS degree in Human Services Administration and my Masters Degree in Public Administration.

I am currently the Mayor of San Mateo and have served on City Council for four years, and as a member and chair of the San Mateo Planning Commission prior to that.

I have served on numerous boards and commissions at the local and county levels, and have spent my entire adult life in the service of my community and preparing myself for the leadership role I now hold and hope to retain.
