Hire A City Manager not Affiliated with City Council or any other Interested Groups

This information is provided by the candidate
I believe that our City Manager must be a neutral individual, with its sole interest is to carry forth the approved policies of the city council, and at the same time offer innovative ideas for community improvements.
In my years, I have bare witnessed to outside individuals calling members of the City Council and commenting on their high recommendations for certain individual(s) for the respective position.

I feel that the City Council should not be influenced in any shape or manner on how the process of hiring a City Manager should be made.
