Role Of Government: Why I Am Running For Re-Election
As a Constitutional Conservative, I believe in the limited form of government envisioned by the Founders. The government that governs least governs best and the government that governs best is that which is closest to the people. That is why I've been honored to serve on your City Council these last four years and act as your Mayor Pro Tem this year.
Public Safety is First Priority
The primary role of any government and the primary use of tax dollars, is to protect the lives and property of its citizens, while doing so in a manner that preserves liberty.
Fiscal Restraint/Responsibility
Government must be good stewards of the taxpayers dollar. Every dollar wasted is a dollar that is not being used by the taxpayer for their benefit and the economy as a whole.
