Candidate Forums On Wednesday April 23, 2014 The Californian and it's sister publication, El Sol will join with the National Steinbeck Center to hose a forum. The event is free and open to the public and will run from 6:30 to about 9 p.m. Candidates will be asked question from both a panel of reporters and the audience. Friday May 2, 2014 is the date for a forum for these four candidates. The forum is co-sponsored with the Carmel Valley Association.
