  • Occupation: Paraeducator
  • I have a BA in American Studies from Cal State Los Angeles.
  • I have a certificate in Information Systems Analysis, Design and Maintenance from University of California Extension Berkeley.
  • After college I taught myself double entry accounting, book keeping and operated a water conservation business.
  • I have worked as a scientific research lab technician, parade float mechanic, machine builder, telephone tech support, and computer administrator.
  • I parented a severely disabled child and I have studied child development and motor skill development.
  • Amateur interest in social systems, chaos, fractals, topology and cybernetics.
Top Priorities if Elected
  • Continue contracting with Cal Fire for Coastside fire and emergency medical services.
  • Put an "election by division" item on the next regular election ballot.
  • Make our community safer with training, teaching, preparation and prevention. Honor our firefighters and volunteer firefighters.
Position Papers
The Fire Board needs election by division to become capable of solving Coastside problems.
The five Fire Board Directors are presently elected by the at large system. The law provides for "election by division" where the five directors are elected by a geographic part of the whole district.
