Hi! My name is Louis W. Blessing III and I am running as the Republican candidate for the 29th District Ohio House of Representatives seat this Fall. My friends and family call me Bill.

I've lived in Colerain Township my entire life and have no plans of ever leaving. I was raised Catholic and attended St. Ann's church and elementary school (now Our Lady of Grace), LaSalle high school and finally the University of Cincinnati. I graduated with degrees in Mathematics and Electrical Engineering. In 2010 I became a licensed professional engineer (P.E.) in the state of Ohio. In March of this year I became engaged to Susannah Meyer and we're going to be married this December 14th.

Currently, I work at a small engineering firm in Sharonville. Since the company is a small business competing in an international market (we have offices in China and the U.K.) I have to work that much harder to help our company remain profitable. Instead of merely designing circuit boards I also create the budgets, write the embedded and application level software, physically build and troubleshoot prototypes, and write documentation. It truly is that competitive and even the smallest of savings make a huge difference.

If elected I will do everything in my power to make Ohio a more business-friendly state. This economy will not get better until unemployment is greatly reduced and the only way to do that is to get businesses to start hiring again; it really is that simple. With endorsements from NFIB, the Ohio Chamber of Commerce, and the Ohio Society of CPAs I know that together we can create a better Ohio.
