Property tax elimination
Property taxes can be eliminated by following the recommendations of the Pennsylvania Property Tax Association.
Independence
I have always taken the position that candidates should not take money or other financial support from outside interests, so that no one but the voter can influence their decisions on any issues.
Misuse of EBT cards
Last year, Auditor General Jack Wagner revealed that Pennsylvania residents receiving public assistance used their EBT cards to make 5.2 million dollars of out-of-state purchases in May of 2010. It was not clear how many of these purchases were inappropriate uses of public assistance funds.
