Smart Voter

Independence

By Tom A. Hawk

Candidate for State Representative; Pennsylvania State House of Representatives; District 102; Republican Party

This information is provided by the candidate
I have always taken the position that candidates should not take money or other financial support from outside interests, so that no one but the voter can influence their decisions on any issues.
In all the positions that I have run for including the County Republican Committee, the Pennsylvania State Republican Committee and the current position of state representative in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the the 102nd district for which I am presently running, I have always self-funded my campaigns. I have always taken the position that I will not accept contributions or monetary funding to my campaign in order to ensure to the voters that they are the only ones who have any influence upon how I will vote. That way the voters know that I am truly representative of their views. In order to do that I will agree to meet with any individual to listen to their concerns on pending legislation.
