More Business Growth not high density housing growth

Homer promotes business growth instead of high density housing growth. Businesses provide valuable products and services to residents and visitors, and provide revenues for the city to finance city programs and services.

There are far more benefits than drawbacks for encouraging businesses unlike high density housing which may further aggravate overcrowded classrooms and traffic around schools.

Businesses are a major source of city revenues essential to pay for city services and projects. They stimulate jobs and help the economy. Healthy businesses provide convenient services and products to residents and attract outside shoppers. They have no significant negative impact to our schools and do provide services to schools and students.

They can provide a place for family entertainment, exercise for shoppers, and a nice meal at the end of a long day and gaming places for kids.

Homer welcomes such businesses as Apple and its Campus II expansion and will do whatever he can to make it successful for both Apple and Cupertino. Hopefully Apple's 13,000 employees will stimulate more shopping and entice vendors to establish offices here.
