I believe in supporting our teachers by providing them the latest tools and training to ensure they are prepared to teach our children to compete in a 21st century global job market.

I have continually approved professional development trainings through new cutting edge workshops so that our teachers and staff can equip our students with 21st Century skills.

I believe that every school in our district can be a leadership academy. I helped to bring Steven Covey's "7 Habits of Highly Effective People" Leader in Me Program into our district; creating a collaborative work environment that helped staff and teachers develop personally as well.

I believe having prepared and professionally trained teachers and staff is vital to the success of student achievement.
