Fiscal Soundness
These are tough economic times and cities all over the country are struggling. Because of its prudent City Council leadership and competent management, Del Mar has maintained relatively good fiscal health. I will:
- Ensure that City expenditures remain within our available funds;
- Compare expenditures of Del Mar with other "best-in-class" cities.
- Continue efforts to find ways to reduce City costs and eliminate inefficiencies;
- Work with citizens to find ways to fund needed improvements and vital services.
