Citizen Involvement Del Mar city government has long benefitted from the active participation and involvement of its residents. I will:
  • Make sure the City communicates effectively with its residents, business and property owners on all key issues before these issues are decided;
  • Listen to and weigh all residents' viewpoints;
  • Encourage participation and dialogue from neighborhood groups, the business community and downtown village property owners on issues of mutual concern;
  • Ensure that our citizen advisory committees have clear direction, work effectively, and receive full consideration from the City Council on their reports and recommendations.
