My background and qualifications to serve as Trustee of SBCC are:

• CPA (on inactive status)
• Accounting Manager, Land Trust for Santa Barbara County
• Small Business Owner (Dodson Land Surveying, Inc.)
• SBCC Parent /Child Workshop participant
• SBCC Parent of two current SBCC students (one is a high school dual-enrollee)
• SBCC Legacy, having attended SBCC myself and my father was a SBCC instructor in the 1970's and is a current volunteer tutor
• Director of Financial Administration, Board Treasurer, The Fielding Graduate Institute
• Director of Financial Administration and current Board Treasurer, Alpha Resource Center of Santa Barbara
• Experienced in management, administration, accounting and community relations within the non-profit and for-profit business sectors
• Involved in my children's schools (San Marcos High School and Vieja Valley Elementary) and sports, and active in the Goleta community in environmental and music cultures.
• Professional Musician, Member of a local Goleta band, The Honeysuckle Possums
