  • Bring back fiduciary responsibility to the Board
  • Use my education, professional training and experience, particularly my accounting experience and business knowledge, to ensure the Board of Trustees maintains a policy of prudent fiscal management and informed oversight
  • Review data provided to the Board to ensure that information is presented in a clear and concise manner, and in a way the public can easily understand the college's real situation and the real issues
  • Use my non-profit and community involvement to renew the mission of SBCC, creating a collaborative and responsive Board of Trustees
  • Use Santa Barbara's vast resources, experienced citizens and knowledgeable supporters to become a creative community team for SBCC, helping find creative solutions for tough problems and/or inspired decision-making
  • Gather information independently and bring new ideas and solutions to tackle SBCC issues
  • I am inspired by my past legacy and current parent status to help SBCC. Limited resources demand creative solutions, and I promise to use my financial skills and fiduciary experience to lead SBCC back to a place where our community and our three-generation-SBCC-legacy family will continue to be proud alumni for many generations to come!
