Candidate for
Councilmember; City of Pacific Grove

I am currently serving on the Pacific Grove City Council having been appointed to this position in 2009. I believe in the concepts of Selfless Service and Teamwork to get things done. They have governed my life since I was a young man, having been implanted by my parents as part of my upbringing.

I have lived in Pacific Grove since 1992. I am a homeowner in the Del Monte Park district of the City. I moved here because of all the wonderful attributes Pacific Grove has to offer.

For 27 Years I served in the US Army. I enlisted as a Private in the Infantry and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. I graduated from Infantry Officer Candidate School, Fort Benning Georgia; the Command and General Staff School, Fort Leavenworth Kansas, and have a certificate from the US War College. I have also attended DLI in Monterey studying Italian and Portuguese. Tours of Duty include Vietnam, Germany, Italy and Portugal. I have also served in the Pentagon and the American Embassy, Lisbon Portugal. I have also taught school in California.

I have had experience in Human Resources, responsible for the job assignments, evaluations, promotions, and record keeping of over 9000 individuals. I also have been a member of a team working a budget in excess of 1.5 billion dollars
