The oldest of three boys, Josh grew up in a military family. In addition to learning the basic American values of discipline, hard work, and integrity early in life, he lived and traveled in many other parts of the world. With these experiences came a deep appreciation of the greatness of America and the experience of interacting with other cultures. It is from these experiences that he also started to develop his strong commitment to public service and personal responsibility.

Josh obtained his undergraduate degree at William & Mary, where he studied history and religion. While there he was a member of the College's varsity soccer team, serving as captain for two years and competing in 4 NCAA tournaments. He also actively involved himself in the community by coaching youth soccer and becoming a leader in several campus organizations.

Following college, Josh went to work for a small business owner and played professional soccer before attending Villanova for law school. He continued to work as a part time clerk in a Center City law firm and served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Environmental Law Journal. After graduating, he went into private practice where he has developed an extensive practice and remained since.

Josh is a partner at the law firm Kaplin, Stewart, Meloff, Reiter, & Stein in Blue Bell. Since joining the firm he has been named as one of the best lawyers in the entire state of Pennsylvania under the age of 40 and consistently identified as a "Rising Star". Best known for his practical and client oriented advice, his clients trust him because of his proven judgment.

A deeply committed family man, Josh lives in Harleysville with his wife of 10 years Trish. They have 2 children and an 11 year old Newfoundland named Samba.
