I believe that the role of municipal government is to assure that the residents receive fair, balanced and representative administration of those issues that affect their lives. Specifically, those include the delivery of services and the appropriate regulation of activities so that we all live together well.

Nether Providence Township, with 14,000 residents, is large enough to be required to face all the complexities and pressures of modern life. It is, however, also small enough that our government should be completely transparent and representative.

I believe in representative and transparent government. I also believe in effective and efficient government. I believe that one needs to be more careful when spending other people's money, not less careful. I am deeply committed to good government, to construtive interaction with neighboring municipalities and the Wallingford-Swarthmore School District, to sound financial management, and to proper and timely decision making.

Should the residents of NPT, Ward 2 elect me to serve them as their township commissioner, I will serve them, and the whole township, with energy, imagination, and intellegence.
