Parent/Family involvement makes a difference in terms of student achievement
The California State Board of Education Policy states that a critical dimension of effective schooling is parent involvement.

Research has shown that parent/family involvement makes a difference in terms of student achievement. There are many benefits for all stakeholders involved:

  • Fewer Behavior problems
  • Less Absenteeism, which is currently an issue in or our schools.

Studies have also shown an important fact:

  • Children from low-income and culturally and racially diverse families have the most to gain when schools involve parents and that the extent of their involvement in their children's education is more important to student success than family income.
