My background and interests have centered around education, my service to country and working with youth in various ways and at different levels. The following is a short summary of my experiences:
1. Lived in New Hanover Township for 32 years
2. Earned BS Education (English) at Kutztown University
3. Earned MS Education at Cabrini College
4. Taught secondary English in the Quakertown Community School District and retired after 30 years
5. Coached PIAA Interscholastic basketball, softball and soccer
6. Coached community youth soccer
7. Served as a PIAA basketball referee and as an ASA softball umpire
8. Participated in the Boyertown Sister Cities program
9. Retired veteran with US Navy/Reserve as an enlisted Communication Technician and commissioned LCDR Naval Intelligence Officer
10. Currently employed as Director of Education at New Life Youth & Family overseeing three schools who serve troubled youth from Montgomery and neighboring counties
11. Had two sons attend the Boyertown Area Schools
12. Currently an incumbant school director
