Born 18 December 1920 in Downey, Calif.

Entered the U.S. Army Air Corps before WWII in August 1941 as an Aviation Cadet. Commissioned a 2nd Lt. March, 1942.

Served 30 years in various assignments retiring in Sept. 1970 as a Redular Officer, rank of Colonel, Command Pilot.

Two years prior to retiring started night law school at the Oklahoma City University School of Law. After retirement (1970) I returned to Orange County, Calif. and graduated from Loyola, Los Angeles and passed the Calif. State Bar in 1972.

I was hired by the Orange County District Attorney and was a criminal Prosecutor for 26 years with the last 13 years as the Supervising Attorney in charge of the Major Narcotics Section

In 1942 I was married to the former Dorothy Allen(Dottie). We have been happily married for 66 years and have three daughters. We bought our house in Canyon Lake in 1977 and were week-enders for over 20 years moving here permsnently in 1998. We have been members of the Canyon Lake Community Church since 1979. We bowl in a league in Murietta.

Dottie is a member of the Womens Golf Club, a dedicated leader in WOW, and a Counselor for Garden Path Ministries (women in prison}.

I am a former member of the Mens Golf Club (I had to quit after a hip replacement 2 years ago), and am currently on the Board of Directors of Lake Elsinore San Jacinto Watershed Authority and the Board of Directors of the San Jacinto River Watershed Council. I served 4 years on the Board of Directors of the Property Owners Association with one year as President and three and a half years on the City Council. I am presently the incumbent Mayor of the City.
