Vinnie's political career goes way back to his home town of Milwaukee where he participated in several local elections.

After graduating from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee with a degree in the life sciences with an emphasis in ecology, Vinnie made his way to the Bay Area and settled in. He went back to graduate school at UC Berkeley and got graduate degrees in both City Planning and Transportation Engineering.

Vinnie then worked for several years as a Transportation Planner working on environmental impact reports, traffic impact studies and transportation demand modeling. He worked on projects throughout the Bay Area including a number in Fremont itself.

About ten years ago, Vinnie made a switch to the field of high technology. Vinnie has been a technical support manager in the software industry for the last seven years. He is currently with a startup company called Kontiki.

Vinnie moved to Fremont over 15 years ago and started a family here. He took on a number of volunteer opportunities such as working with the local PTA and serving on the Board of the Glenmoor Gardens Homeowners Association.

Vinnie's main volunteer activity has been working on environmental issues for the Sierra Club. For the last six years, Vinnie has been a member of the SF Bay Area chapter's political committee and a member of the executive committee of the local Sierra Club group. He has been involved in numerous election campaigns and environmental issues. He was one of the proponents of Measure K which sought to limit development adjacent to one of our open space treasures, Coyote Hills Regional Park.
