High School Graduate and Hartnell Student. Married, 3 adult children, 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
I have 28 years experience as a District Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent/Board of Trustees. I have experience in the Brown Act Law, Board Policies, California Education Code, Board Governance and successfully chaired a $90 Million School Bond Campaign for improvement of school facilities in 2006. During the past 28 years I had the privilege of serving students, classified and certificated staff, parents/guardians, community and worked with administrators. I know how to conduct a meeting and the Robert Rules of Order. I am currently serving as a member of the Board of Directs and Secretary for the Oasis Public Charter School, Alisal Education Foundation, and the Alisal Betterment Association as Treasurer. I also serve the community at large as an Officer of the Salinas Elks Lodge #614.
