Elect James L. Lawson, Ph.D., MBA

By James L. Lawson

Candidate for Council Member; City of San Fernando

This information is provided by the candidate
As a mature professional I bring life experience and professional skills to the residents of San Fernando as a City Council Candidate. I am the only candidate who operates their own successful business. Most of thye other candidates work for other politicians or for publicly funded organizations. They have a lot of experience in spending your tax monies. Most are young adults with limited life experiences and lack the maturitry of years.
ASK YOURSELF THESE QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU VOTE ON MARCH 6 2007 FOR THREE (3) CANDIDATES OF YOUR CHOICE:
  • Are your streets and sidewalks in good repair?
  • Are your trees trimmed?
  • Is your City's swimming pool open, yet, after all these years?
  • Do you trust youngsters, who squabble among themselves and can not come to a consensus on important issues, with your tax money?

VOTE FOR ME ON MARCH 6th AND I PROMISE AND PLEDGE:
  • I pledge to not run for higher elective office. The City Council is NOT a stepping stone to be used for one's political career advancement, but to COMPLETE the City's Business while representing ALL of its citizens.
  • I promise to represent ALL of the City's residents, fairly and openly, without the influence of any special interests.
  • I pledge to demand open and accessible local government to the residents of San Fernando --WITH NO MORE SECRETS !
