Pat Aust's Experience: 38 years of Public Service: 34 years service City of Redondo Beach (1969 - 2002)Retired as Fire Chief.

3 years service Beach Cities Health District Board of Directors, including President of the Board 2/2006 thru 1/2007.

More than 30 years experience in complex budget preparation, management of emergency services and personnel supervision qualies Pat Aust as an expert in municipal management.

As a public safety professional, Pat Aust was directly responsible for the delivery of fire safety,emergency rescue and advanced life support programs for more than thirty-two years. His leadership established our Fire Department as one of the top 350 out of 47,000 fire departments in the United States.

Over the last four years Pat's volunteered service on ten boards or committees,chairing eight of them, with each having a very positive effect on Redondo Beach.

Pat's extensive experience in governmental budgeting, personnel management,building construction, emergency preparadness and public administration make him the superior candidate for Councilmember District 3.
