Experience will make a big difference! Pat Aust's Philosophy is based on 58 years of experience living in the beach cities and 38 years of experience working to improve Redondo Beach's Public Safety. If Public Safety is on everyone's agenda - does'nt it make sense to elect a certified expert in the field as your councilmember? Our council needs a member with more than a few years of part time experience dealing with complex city issues.

I believe our citizens deserve a councilmember that respectfully listens to thier concerns and comprehensively attempts to meet thier expectations. If for good reason or rationale that can't be accomplished, I must be able to explain the situation in a tactful considerate manner. Basic public services are usually easy to explain, however thier a lot tougher to deliver in a concise, consistent manner. The fact that this must be accomplished with public funds and finance requires a truthful pragmatic person. I have more than thirty years experience doing that exact thing with an excellent history of customer satisfaction and financial success. Density, Traffic, Finance, Youth and Senior Services are the issues I believe will have the greatest future impact on our city. I look forward to the chance to work and have a positive effect on all of them.
