• A local community resident for 35 years. Proud parent of 3 young adults who attended our outstanding local schools, including our community colleges
• Good understanding of students' needs, as well as the benefits that our community colleges provide to parents
• Licensed real estate broker, continuously active within the community on multiple levels
• Member of the Colleges' Advancement/Development Board
• Member of the District's General Obligation Bond Oversight Committee
• Graduate of San Jose State University with a degree in Mathematics
• Graduate of the Leadership Los Gatos Program
• Active member of Saratoga Rotary; 2006 Chair of the Saratoga Rotary Art Show at West Valley College; Director of Financial Operations for the Art Show; past treasurer of the club; and several years of service on the Board of Directors for Saratoga Rotary
