Many new improvements planned.
There is much still to do to expand the traffic circulation for the City of Temecula. Thankfully we have had the foresight to anticipate this need and we currently have $250,000,000 in our Capital Improvement Program to design and build these much needed improvements. Unfortunately this process is time consuming due to the approvals that are necessary from other agencies. Many of these facilities have been designed and ready to construct for some time. Working collaboratively with Caltrans, we can now get final approval and build these facilities. Major improvements to be constructed are the French Valley Parkway and new interchange, the ultimate improvements to the Highway 79 South interchange, and both and eastern and western bypasses around the city.
