Curb and prevent all the crime we have in , Eureka .
After getting a rock thrown threw my window plus two attempted break - ins and after seeing my neighbors getting their tires slashed , i thought I'd move from downtown to a better area known as the "Henderson Center " . In the year i have been here we had an home invasion robbery just one Street away from my home . A few months ago we had some crack dealers move in just two doors away and my neighbor said he got his tires slashed . Is this is a good area , i wondered ?
People should not have to live in fear .
We need a change of leadership . I found our crime rate online : Crime Rate Comparision , Eureka v/s other Cities . We have more crime in , Eureka than any other City this size in America , I found our crime rate is double that of the national average and in some catagories we have even more crime here than major Cities .I usually will hear the sirens of emergency vehicles late into the night even the early morning hours . My neighbor won't even let their children outside without them being constantly supervised and they are not even allowded to go beyond their yard . My other neighbor only lets her kids play in the back yard which is completely fenced . No one should have to live in fear in this County.
