I have taught and written books on numerous legal subjects including contracts, torts, evidence, corporations, real property, professional conduct, constitutional law, juvenile law, criminal and civil procedure and legal writing and analysis.

During the 1980s I served as a Temporary Judge in the San Fernando, Van Nuys and downtown courts. My services were voluntary. They included being a temporary judge in hundreds of cases. The reason I sat as temporary judge on such a large number of cases was because my law office was directly across the street from the San Fernando Court. Not only did I do my own voluntary work in Van Nuys, San Fernando and downtown, but I also sat in for other lawyers volunteering when there were last minute cancellations by the other volunteers. Also, when the regular assigned judges had other obligations I was called to assist that day. Because my office was across the street I could literally be on the bench within two or three minutes after being called by the clerk. I even sat as the temporary judge on Christmas Eve, allowing the sitting judge to have the holiday off. During the 1990s I served as a Court Arbitrator in the Antelope Judicial District. The hearings were held in the law library of my law school.

I have been married to my wife Diane for 39 years. I have two adult childred and three grandchildren.

My trial experience includes hundreds of cases since 1975. The cases include civil, criminal and administrative law cases before the DMV, FAA and DOD.

I am admitted to practice before the following courts: State of California.. admitted in 1975; State of Arizona.. admitted in 1982; Supreme Court of the United States..admitted in 1979; U.S Court of Appeals..admitted in 1978; U.S. District Court Central District of Ca. admitted in 1976; U.S. District Court Northern District of Ca. admitted in 1994; US. District Court Eastern District of Ca. admitted in 1988; U.S. District Court Southern District of Ca. admitted in 1987; U.S. District Court of Arizona admitted in 1994.
