Candidate for
Council Member; City of Cathedral City

I am of Ukrainian extracton. My grandparents immigrated to the Ulnited States in the late 1800's and settled in Penn. worked in the coal mines and raised 13 children. My Father lied about his age and at 15 joined the Army to help support his family. After 36 years of service he retired and became the local chief of police. My Mother worked in the ammuniation plant during the war, packing bombs and again after, dismantling them. In the mean time they raised 5 boys me being the middle one.

I worked for the state of California DMV and after retirement to the desert I have worked as a Nursing assistant and home health aid, and most reacently a landscaper.

I was a volunteer for Shelter From the Storm and worked as a teacher's aide, tutor to the children, and events coordinator. I also worked with CASA and Desert Aid's Project.
