Candidate for
Member, Board of Directors; Castro Valley Sanitary District

Running for this office is a natural outgrowth of my desire to serve the community. I have volunteered as a Castro Valley Boys and Girls Club T-ball coach, Castro Valley Independent Baseball League coach, Castro Valley Cub Scout Pack 708 Committee Chairman, Castro Valley Preservation Society Treasurer, and California State Science Fair Judge. My expertise in subsurface improvements (such as sewer pipelines) and environmental issues due to my 17-year career as a professional environmental geologist will aid the Board in making enlightened decisions. My 10 years as a small business owner will translate into prudent budgetary decisions.

I have been attending Castro Valley Sanitary District Board meetings since 2000, which will enable me to smoothly transition into Board business. I have a strong desire to serve our community. I am committed to Castro Valley and to a strong quality of life for all who live and work here.
