  • Appointed to University of California Board of Regents in l999, Vice Chairperson in 2002-2003
  • Retired from MJC in 2001 as Dean of Community and Economic Development
  • Honors include being selected for Leadership Modesto Program; Outstanding Woman in Stanislaus County, Woman of the Year-26th Assembly District-1992;
  • Served on Forward Modesto IV, Charter Review and Human Relations Committees in Modesto
