Candidate for Council Member; City of Bellflower

This information is provided by the candidate
We must be committed to a better Bellflower if we are to progress as a City.
The March 4th election is critical to the future of our city. Three of five council members-a voting majority- will be elected. It is important to continue the great progress of meeting our residents' needs.

Our city is at a crossroads with many improvements in the pipeline-the Town Center Plaza Project, relandscaping the north side of the 91 freeway, the sound wall construction and the transportation linkages. I want to be a part of the leadership team to represent your concerns and needs.

The biggest challenge we are facing as a city is surviving the financial impact from the state budget shortfalls. Nearly 15% of our city's $39,000,000 budget comes from Sacramento. We need to preserve our funding while we attract private investment in our community for the future. To do this effectively will require experience and leadership. I am willing to roll up my sleeves and work on Bellflower's behalf.

I ask for your continued commitment to Bellflower. I ask for your partnership in the progress of our city. And I ask for your vote. I'm number 8 on the ballot.
