PERSONAL, WORK & EDUCATION:

  • Mother of two teenagers: Stephanie, a junior at Lynbrook High School, and Jacqueline, an 8th grader at Miller Middle School; married to Raphael Tam
  • Resident of the district for 9 years precede by 5 years as an expatriate in Hong Kong; born and raised in the Chicago area
  • Community Service Volunteer (15 years) and Volunteer Teacher (10 years); recipient of PTA Continuing Service Award
  • Computer Systems Analyst and Programmer (4 years)
  • Graduate of Northwestern University, B.A. Biology

LEADERSHIP:
  • Chairman of the 2002 Bay Area California Music Educators Assoc. High School Orchestra Festival, Lynbrook High School
  • President of School Site Council, Blue Hills Elementary
  • Director & Cofounder of K-6 Ceramics Program, Blue Hills Elementary
