Candidate for
Board Member; Santa Barbara High School District

I am a parent who values our public education system. This is why I am running for a seat on the Santa Barbara School Board. I am a native of Southern California and live in Santa Barbara with my wife of over ten years, Gayle, and our children, Mayela (9) and Joey (2 ½).

I started my own business in 1995. I believe that my twenty years of experience as a marketing professional and strategic planner for some of the country's top corporations has prepared me well for service on the School Board. I have significant budgetary experience, working with multi-million dollar budgets that will help me to ensure that the District's funds are being spent wisely and effectively for our children. I understand the complexities involved in the proper management of important resources.

I am committed to professional excellence, our community and public service. As your elected School Board Member I will work hard for the students, taxpayers, parents, teachers and staff. I will look out for our children's future.
