Candidate for
Superior Court Judge; County of El Dorado; Office 6

This information is provided by the candidate

I am a native Californian who paid my own way through college and law school. I completed college in three years and was the youngest person in my graduating law school class at U.C. Davis. I studied jurisprudence at Oxford University.

For the past eleven years, I have worked in court as a trial attorney prosecuting a variety of complex criminal and civil cases. My hard work and dedication earned rapid promotions in our District Attorney's Office to the highest level possible for non-management attorneys.

In 2000-2001, I exceeded the goals on the S.R.V.P. Grant by 187%, earning more than $85,000 in additional funds from the Office of Criminal Justice Planning, which will allow more child molesters to be prosecuted in El Dorado County.

My parents, sister, and children all reside in El Dorado County. My volunteer service includes Teen Court, Girl Scouts, Friends of the Library and First Baptist Church.
