A fourth generation Sonoma-Marin resident, Ed Gilardi is not a stranger to the community. His dedication to excellence in school is evidenced by the countless number of volunteer hours he has spent on behalf of education. He has been an active PTA member for the last nine years, focused on funding cultural enrichment, parenting and safety programs, as well as special events. Seven years ago, he was elected to the Board of Directors of the Education Foundation of Cotati-Rohnert Park. In 1996, Ed was elected to the Cotati-Rohnert Park Unified School District Board of Trustees. His present role is that of Board President.
Ed, and his wife Pat, are the parents of Anthony, who is in the eighth grade, and Marissa who is in the third grade. He and his family have lived in Cotati for 16 years.
