I am a third generation Mountain View resident. My grandparents came from Italy and settled in Mountain View. They started the Ambra Olive Oil business in 1926. (The factory is still located at Rengstorff and Leghorn.) My father grew up riding his horse to school. We live in a different time. Not a horse to be found in Mountain View now.

I am the owner of a general engineering contractor business. My wife Liz, an educator, is active in school and church activities. Mike and Ken, who attend Mountain View High School and Mission College, support me in many ways - especially in youth issues.

Our community is important to me. My civic involvement includes: MVHS Parent Association, Walk for AIDS, Humane Society, St. Vincent DePaul Society, Friends of the Library, Stand for Children, National Wildlife Federation, Community Health Awareness Council, Kiwanis Club, Sierra Club, Tri-County Youth Group, Stevens Creek Trail, Quota Club, Asian Parade, Christmas in April, Mountain View Historical Association.
