Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Charles Tassell

Candidate for
State Representative; District 36

This information is provided by the candidate

· Parents should have the opportunity to choose which school - public, private, parochial, or home schooling - their children attend. Therefore, I am in favor of vouchers and other means of providing choice in schooling for all children.

· In any double income family, one member is working for the government...there is no greater theft of family time and resources. Taxes at all levels must be reduced while the growth of government must be reduced or held to, at most, the rate of inflation.

· There is never a reason for an abortion. Exceptions are excuses: it's not the baby's fault.

· Employees should have the choice to join a union. Current union practices extort money from workers without regard to individual beliefs in order to promote an agenda that may or may not support the workers. I will support right-to-work legislation.
