Housing

I understand the impact of housing needs on our families. The rising costs of housing have made home ownership and upkeep difficult for many of us. I have worked to begin the process of making our legislative candidates sensitive to these issues and how they effect our quality of life.

Education

I support smaller class sizes, enhanced teacher training, and the strong integration of technology into the classroom. I support on-going, low-cost education for enhanced job skills and enjoyment. I have tutored high school students as part of her commitment to support our youth.

Economic Opportunity

I have worked to create legislation to enhance our California economy while not over-burdening us with over-regulation. I support the need for a continued balanced budget and fiscally responsible spending.

Health and Elder Care

As a caregiver for my mother and a long-time community volunteer, I understand the financial and emotional impacts of health care needs. My background includes a strong focus on prevention, substance abuse, and elder care.
