I am the Division Leader of the Health and Ecological Assessment Division at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory where I have worked since 1975. My primary research involves techniques for estimating exposures to toxic substances in food, water, and air as well as the associated health risks. As a member of the Zone 7 water board for two terms, I have spent a considerable amount of time working on water supply issues and promoting improvements in the quality of our drinking water.
