I believe that most of us have common concerns about our children's education. As we approach the 21st century, we need to make sure that our children have the proper tools that will take them through high school, college and their careers. In order to prepare them for this we need to have a strong well rounded base education from the Belmont-Redwood Shores School District.

Our district is doing a good job, but there is always room for improvement. We not only want our children to have a quality education, but we also want them to have a great school experience as well.

We need to maintain fiscal responsibility, spending Measure B Bond dollars correctly and prudently, build reserves, make sure school sites are safe, and to plan ahead to accommodate the increasing enrollment that we are facing.

I promise to do everything in my power to maintain the high quality of education that you expect and deserve for your children. I will be your voice on the Belmont-Redwood Shores School Board and would appreciate your vote on November 2nd!

I want to know your concerns - E-mail me at: Smy3kidst@aol.com.
