  • We have lived in Belmont since 1987.
  • We located our business in Belmont in 1991.
  • All three of our children are attending Belmont-Redwood Shores Schools in - Kindergarten, 5th and 8th grades.

I have been an active volunteer at our schools and at the district level since 1991 participating in many capacities: Classroom volunteer since 1991, Faithful field trip driver since 1991, Interviewed Architects for Cipriani School 1993, Hot Lunch volunteer 1993-1995, Co-Chaired Fox's Hot Lunch Program 1995-1999, District Hot Lunch Chairs Committee 1997-1998, Co-Chaired Teacher Appreciation Week 1997-1998, Member of Ralston's After School Club Program Committee 1997-1998, Co-Advisor of the 7th grade Cheerleading Squad 1998-1999, Screening of Applications for Fox Principal 1999, Chairing Teacher Appreciation Week at Ralston Middle School 1999-2000, Co-Advisor for the 8th grade Cheerleading Squad 1999-2000.

I am and will continue to volunteer at the schools so I can interact with parents, teachers and most importantly the children. In my opinion, listening and communicating are the key factors in being a successful school board member.
