Political Philosophy for Eric A. Montizambert

Candidate for
Director; Tamalpais Community Services District

This information is provided by the candidate

Tamalpais Valley has been my home for more than 25 years. My wife and I have owned our home there since 1990. My parents moved to Tamalpais Valley in 1961, when I was 10 years old. They still reside there. I have a stake in what happens in Tamalpais Valley and I want to have an active role in helping to guide its future.

If elected, my vote on District matters always will support efficient and cost-effective community services provided by the Tamalpais Community Services District. While I served as a Commissioner on the TCSD Parks and Recreation Commission (1994-1998), I worked cooperatively with my fellow Commissioners and the TCSD Directors on remodeling and upgrading the Tamalpais Valley Community Center--which now offers the community an excellent facility for various activities, ranging from dance classes to town meetings. I also actively worked to reduced graffiti in our neighborhoods and to more effectively manage TCSD parks, trails, and open space.

As a TCSD Director over the past 18 months, I have continued my philosophy of managing TCSD services in a responsible and cost-effective manner. As a long-time resident of Tamalpais Valley, I have a stake in our community and I want to make a difference. Electing me-- and the other incumbents--will help to maintain the excellent services offered by the Tamalpais Community Services District.
