Issues and Positions: Maintain high quality of life in Castro Valley. Provide the best service at reasonable cost . With 39 years of engineering experience , I will continue bringing my expertise to solve technical problems facing the District and Castro Valley as I have done in the past four years. A new building was erected; routing for the Sewer pipe from Livermore Valley ( LAVWMA) was challenged ; new alignment will avoid disruptions to the CV Business District. Helped facilitate the Alameda County/LAVWMA agreement resulting in $3,000,000 for our Community. There is more to be done. Repairing District ` s sewer system ; solving infiltration problems ; reducing solid waste to State mandates ; negotiate new contracts with garbage haulers; bring back a Castro Valley Clean- Up; provide garbage pick-up in the downtown area to keep Castro Valley clean. Lots of challenges ahead and I am ready. Let us work together for a cleaner and better Castro Valley. Thank you for your vote.
