Working with children, parents, teachers, and administrators for many years has given me insight into the educational and facility needs of our schools. Children will flourish in an atmosphere that offers a well-balanced combination of curriculum and socialization. The Saratoga Union School District Governing Board must work as a team to help every child reach his/her fullest potential by:

  • Continuously evaluating the effectiveness of grade level instructional programs and homework policies
  • Providing balanced education
  • Working to ensure the needs of every child are met
  • Promoting accessibility and open communication between the Board, parents, and educators
  • Using the $40 million General Obligation Bond (Measure D) funds in a responsible and equitable manner
  • Maintaining the district's reputation for educational excellence

I strongly believe it is essential to provide our children with a productive, creative, and safe learning environment that will enhance the curriculum rather than detract from it.
