President/Vice President of the United States Voter Information

Joint-Independent candidates for President and Vice President must gather at least 5,000 valid signatures to have their names appear on the ballot and may choose to be listed as "non-party," "other party," or with no designation. Independent-joint-write-in candidates for President and Vice President in Ohio require no petition signatures. The filing deadline for joint Independent Presidential candidates is August 19. The filing deadline for all write-in candidates is September 13.
