Ingrid Lundberg has been a grassroots Republican activist for 18 years. She is a fourth generation northern Californian, born in Chico in 1963. She attended Biggs High School where she was student body president and student representative to the local school board. She received a bachelor's degree in political science with a minor in Italian language from the University of California, Davis. while at UC Davis, she was president of College Republicans and her club was honored by the College Republican National Committee as one of the top one hundred College Republican clubs in the nation. In 1985, she received a personal thank you letter from President Ronald Reagan for her work on his 1984 reelection campaign.

In 1996, Ms. Lundberg earned a master's degree in public policy from Regent University's College of law and Government in Virginia. Her political experience includes work as a lobbyist in Washington, DC on child sexual abuse and child pornography legislation, serving as assistant campaign manager for State Representative Ray Allen of Texas, and work as an assistant to the Director of the California Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs in Sacramento. She is an owner of Lundberg Family Farms, and internationally known producer of organic and gourmet rice products based in Richvale, California. She currently holds the position of Vice President of Governmental and Public Affairs. She resides in Sacramento and her hobbies include teaching preschoolers in a program at her church and target shooting.
