Candidate Login

Temporarily Suspended

The candidate data entry has been temporarily disabled while we are in the process of archiving the last election and initializing the next election.

Candidates appearing in a future runoff (including winners of a primary election) will have information entered into Smart Voter automatically carried forward to the runoff election. At that time, they may post new information and/or revise material previously posted on SmartVoter.

For other elected offices in counties covered by SmartVoter, after the filing period closes and certified candidate lists become available, those candidates will be invited to post their campaign material.

This page is for candidate use only. For public information on contests and candidates, please go to the Smart Voter Home Page.

Welcome to the SmartVoter candidate area. Here you can enter or update campaign information delivered to voters with easy to use forms.

At this time, we can only accept candidates appearing on ballots within the following counties:

If you are a candidate in an election after March 1, 2016, please go to the Voter's Edge California candidate login area.

For other elected offices in counties covered by SmartVoter, after the filing period closes and certified candidate lists become available, those candidates will be invited to post their campaign material.

For more information, read FAQs for Candidates.

We encourage candidates to finish updating their profiles by Friday evening before Election Day to reach the most voters.
